The Killer Soundtrack

Right, so i thought, seeing as we didnt get any proper work done, i'd share the fruits of our labours - the soundtrack that took us an evening (this is subject to changes i.e. we change our minds or add songs we like) So, here it is!
Buffalo Springfield- for what it’s worth

Mumford and sons- the cave
Weezer- the greatest man that ever lived
Talking heads- road to nowhere
Jefferson airplane- white rabbit
Chopin raindrops prelude
The banjo song- seasick Steve
Bloodhound gang- F.U.C.K
Clutch- the regulator
The strokes- heart in a cage
White stripes- blue orchid
The xx- crystallised
Creature feature- aim for the head
Breaking Benjamin- blow me away
Young mc- bust a move
Modest mouse- float on
Alkaline trio- mercy me
Arctic monkeys- potion approaching
Bob Dylan- the times they are a changing
Taken by trees- sweet child of mine
Sublime- what I got
Ugly kid Joe- cats in the cradle
Rise against-saviour

i think it's pretty good myself, got some brilliant songs that go brilliantly with the scenes we have planned. anyway, next time i post i'm hoping to have written some of the script :)

yeah we kinda suck

so basically, i went to doug's with the full intention of getting a good chunk outta the script, but we somehow got onto the subject of music and im pleased to announce we have a KILLER soundtrack for this. some may call this jumping the gun but it actually brough us to some things we hadn't thought about and helped us develop some ideas for the series. so it wasnt a COMPLETE waste of time (just a partial one). but yeah, we got a lot of stuff done and more ideas flowing which is good, because brainstorming and bringing new ideas together will just further what we've got at the moment. so, as a final note, i thought i'd post a couple of pictures of my co-everything and my left foot - Doug
.

getting down to business

hello again! right, tonight me and Doug (the co-everything) are gonna finally start writing the script for this badboy. He's really given me the drive i needed for this project so we're hopefully gonna get stuck in. we've got the main storyline figured out and the key events on it - the only thing to do now is the tediousness of writing the bloody thing. i'll be posting a synopsis and i'll post some excerpts from the script too. the other thing i'm going to do is character profiles with details, personalitys, maybe even pictures of the people who will play them. i'll also be putting a picture up of Doug (who's a character anyway) so you know who i'm going on about - i would put one up now but the only ones ive got of him are either embarassing or theres one where he put a comb in his mouth and smiles making it look like he has shark teeth - 'nuff said. so, ill update tomorrow and say how it all went and what we got done, what we are going to do next, who went on top etc. peace out.

New Blog to start things off

Right, first things first - Hello!
My name's Rob and about a year ago i had the idea of adapting my friend's dream about her (and my) friends trying to survive zombies in rural Britain into a film/series. this got me thinking and inbetween college, work, dropping college to work and getting a friend involved to give me the kick up the ass i needed, i've finally got things up and running. we're both writing the script together and will be co-producing and co-directing it. this venture is about many things: friendship, fun, what we can do on a budget of fuck all and having something and thinking "yeah, we made that!"
so yeah, i'll be posting stufff on here throughout our journey including pictures of the people involved, videos of us doing stuff, samples of the script and just telling everyone how things are going. so thats basically what this all is about - i have no idea when the next post will be, its kinda hit and miss when i get chance or i need to update it. so i'll speak soon :)
